This week we have a Global Design Project colour challenge #349, and what bright, sunny colours they are.
My first thought when I saw these colours was butterflies so that's what I went with. I've used Brilliant Wings dies and the stamp set Nature's Prints.
I love splatter patterns and used that and the fern stamp to add the three colours to a white rectangle. I was going to stamp the sentiment directly on to this layer but it didn't stand out enough so I ended up adding a white strip and stamped the sentiment on that.
I used the same splatter stamp to add colour to the die cut butterflies, I like how there are little bits of white rather than solid colour.
A piece of Parakeet Party dsp and some Tahitian Tide and White Baker's Twine was all that was needed to bring the card together.
