I've created two cards today using the same techniques and colours, but the choice of stamped images and sentiments makes them feel very different.
I wanted to do a little blending through a mask so die cut a basic circle shape using scrap card and used my blending brushes and ink pads to add colour. The feature colours here are Pool Party and Pale Papaya, my best advice with blending brushes is to let the colour build up gradually.
The first card has a very calming feel to it. I've used stamps from On The Horizon and Oceanfront for the main images, the little dots are from Contour & Colour, I've stamped in Basic Gray and Smoky Slate.
The second card is much more vibrant, the same colours have been used for the stamping. The floral image is from Colour & Contour, the sentiments from Create with Friends. On this card I have also used Stampin' Blends to colour the flowers.
Each card has been embellished with a few Genial Gems, they are a really good colour match and I love the little flecks of gold.
I love the simplicity of these cards and I think Pale Papaya is my new favourite colour!
