Brilliant Rainbow

Today has been all about colour challenges and this is the first of two posts.

My Rainbow Dies were delivered this morning and I couldn’t wait to use them. This card was inspired by Kim Price @handmadecraftsbykim and feature the colours in this months SU Colour Challenge.

I love the combination of bright and cheerful colours, they work so well together.

My card is A6 size and has a dsp layer (Saleabration Sunshine & Rainbows) and a white panel which has been stamped in Misty Moonlight with a sentiment from Flowers of Friendship.

The rainbow has been cut from cardstock in the other four colours, Poppy Parade, Granny Apple Green, Balmy Blue and Fresh Freesia, I cut a complete rainbow from each colour so was able to make four in total just changing up the order of the colours.

A little tip for putting your rainbow together, use a ruler and find a middle point (1 1/2" on my ruler) and the place the smallest rainbow piece first. Keeping the ruler in place, it is really easy to move outwards making sure each piece sits along the ruler's edge.

The clouds have been stuck on using mini dimensionals and I couldn't resist adding a little Brushed Brass Butterfly embellishment.

Something tells me I'll be using these rainbows a lot, simple but so cute. The Saleabration dsp is free with a £45 purchase but is only available until the end of this month so don't hang about if you like it.

If you are interested in purchasing any of the items used here, you will find product links below. Please use this months host code QBY6PVQT and if your order is over £30 you will get a hand made thank you card and small gift from me.

Another colour challenge card coming next, thanks for looking,
