This week’s Global Design Project challenge is to CASE the designer Angela Meiritz - Reid #336.
Angela's card is beautiful, I liked the idea of a simply stamped background with a die cut focal point and decided to use an old favourite Forever Fern with Forever Flourishing dies.
My background layer has been stamped in Gray Granite using the left and right handed small leaves stamp and the lovely 'splatter' dots.
Gray Granite is a lovely warm grey and I've paired it here with Petal Pink. The sentiment has been heat embossed in white. The card has come together quite simply, I've added the stamped layer to Gray Granite cardstock and sat the die cut pieces on top.
The sentiment has been stuck on with dimensionals and I have added a simple ribbon bow and some Petal Pink Elegant Faceted Gems.
I love the simplicity of the colours in this card, pink and grey is a winner for me.
