My card today is for a Global Design Project colour challenge #GDP381, and what pretty colours they are.
I started by die cutting my frames and flowers. The frames are made by using two of the Stylish Shapes squares, I used a little masking tape to keep them correctly lined up for the three frames.
The flowers and stems have all been cut from Basic White card stock. I then used a water painter to add a little colour, more colour was added to the purple flowers using Stampin’ Blends.
Sitting behind the die cuts is a large white square (5”), I’ve used a blending brush to add a hint of Blushing Bride.
The sentiment (Sending Smiles) has been heat embossed in white onto Highland Heather cardstock. I’ve interlocked the frames by cutting through in places where I wanted it to sit behind. Once I was happy with the shape of the frames trio, I added the flowers and then positioned on my card making sure the sentiment sat straight.
Lastly, a few Basic Pearls of different sizes were added. Pretty pearls for a pretty card, I hope you like it.
