The Boughs punch has been around for a little while but I’d not been tempted until I saw the new Layering Leaves stamp set, I absolutely love the font used for the sentiments.
This is my card for this months ‘for the men’ Stamptastic Friends blog hop. I’ve chosen some new and returning colours to give it a masculine feel.
The dsp is from Gone Fishing and features a lovely warm new grey Pebbled Path. My cardstock layer is a returning colour Lost Lagoon, the stamping is both of these colours and a new In Color Copper Clay.
I’ve stamped both styles of leaf stem and one of the seed pods, then punched them out ready to add to my card.
A Pebbled Path jute twine bow completes the design, the twine is quite thick so after tying the bow I squished it through my Cut & Emboss machine to flatten it a little.
