Life is better with you

I’ve used Waves of the Ocean dsp again today for this card with lots of shades of blue.

I’ve gone for bold colours and strong geometric shapes so even with the addition of a butterfly, I think it would be perfectly suitable for a man.

Everything except the sentiment is die cut or embossed. The tag has been die cut in white using Tailor Made Tags Dies and the detail is hexagons from Beautiful Shapes Dies in Smoky Slate and Balmy Blue and curved pieces from Brilliant Rainbow Dies in Pacific Point.

My card base is 6 inches square on which sits a strip of dsp and a piece of Smoky Slate cardstock embossed using Painted Texture 3d embossing folder. The butterfly (Brilliant Butterflies Dies) has been die cut out of a piece of the Wave of the Ocean dsp with a lovely mix of blue shades and white.

The sentiment from Flowers of Friendship, has been stamped three times on different coloured cardstock and the words I wanted to use cut out. I have used a little double sided tape to hold them neatly in place.

I have used Misty Moonlight ribbon to edge the dsp on one side and used the same ribbon on the tag and a few little Rhinestone Waves Basic Gems have been added.
