Meadow Leaves

A card to say 'congratulations' in rich blues and warm gold is my entry in this week's Global Design Project challenge #GDP347, the theme is plants and leaves.

My main colour is Starry Sky and to that I have added a little Balmy Blue. As well as Gold Foil, I have used a free Saleabration paper, the pack has spotty and stripes in both gold and silver.

The Meadow dies are a firm favourite of mine, they cut beautifully and look good in so many different colours.

I trimmed down the 6x6 dsp to 5 1/2" square and used an off cut to cut one of the stems.

Stampin' Up! has so many lovely embossing folders at the moment, here I've used Fern 3D on the white scalloped rectangle and stripes from Stripes & Splatters 3D on the Balmy Blue strip. My sentiment is from Happiness Abounds, I really am using these sentiments all the time!

Before adding the Balmy Blue strip I have wrapped a piece of Balmy Blue and White ribbon (you'll find this in the new July - December catalogue) around it.

My scalloped rectangle has been added using dimensionals after looping around some gold Simply Elegant Trim. I've also used gold Brushed Metallic dots which tie in really nicely with the spotty dsp.

Below you will find product links for everything used on this card with the exception of the ribbon and Saleabration dsp, both of which will be available from 1st July.

Thanks for looking,

Katie x
