The Global Design Project theme this week #GDP331 is circles and dots. I’ve made a fun card using Awesome Otters.
Awesome Otters is a Saleabration item, as is the Simply Marbleous dsp. Both are only available until the end of this month, each one free with a catalogue spend of £45.
I started with the circle element of my design and used the larger circle in Tasteful Labels to randomly cut some apertures from a rectangle of Coastal Cabana cardstock. Underneath that sits a piece of Simply Marbleous dsp cut the same size.
I used the smaller circle die to cut pieces of dsp in the other colours to place inside the large circle cut outs.
Once I had all the pieces trimmed and ready I stuck it all together and mounted onto a Poppy Parade layer before adding to a white card base.
The little party hats and the otter have been stamped on white and coloured using an assortment of Stampin' Blend colours before being fussy cut then added to the card.
The otter and the sentiment have been stuck down using mini dimensionals which raises them up slightly from the card base.
I love the stitched detail around the outside of the large circle and it was fun to create such a colourful card.
