Pastel Leaves

Autumn is a time of rich warm colours but that doesn’t mean there isn’t room for more subtle tones.

This card uses lovely warm Gray Granite for stamping, cardstock and ribbon and So Saffron, Soft Sea Foam and Crumb Cake for the colouring.

I have used Time of Giving for the dots and the leaves, both stamped off to give a lighter impression. The leaves have been stamped once as a trio then inked up individually to allow for a more random pattern.

I've coloured the leaves with Stampin' Blends and used only the light version, I really did want the colour to be subtle.

The die cut leaf swirl is from Seasonal Swirl dies and has been coloured using the same blend markers. The sentiment I've chosen is from Lovely You and has been stamped onto a label die cut using Meadow dies. I've threaded the ribbon through the loops and used dimensionals to stick the label to the card.

Finally I mounted the stamped panel onto Gray Granite cardstock before adding it to the card base and added a trio of Brushed Metallic Dots.

I love the windswept look of the leaves on this card and think the subtle colours work well. All the products used are detailed below.

Thanks for looking,

Katie x
