Stampin’ Up! are doing a second Saleabration promotion this year, this one will run through August/September. The dsp I’ve used on today’s card is one of those Saleabration free items.
If you have seen the beautiful Hand Penned dsp then this will feel familiar, it’s a black and white version with similar designs.
I’ve contrasted the black and white with Polished Pink and used cardstock, Stampin’ blends, ribbon and In Color Jewels.
I cut the dsp to fit on a 6 inch square card base, The rectangles are cut so that a good amount of the bottom layer shows and just a little bit of the Polished Pink cardstock. I tore the vellum for a softer edge, it has been folded and stuck at the back of the dsp, so no glue was needed which is difficult to hide.
I wanted a Polished Pink bow but the ribbon was a bit too wide…..so I cut it down the middle, I really like the frayed edge. I’ve double up for the little bow on my card and left the tails long.
The flowers have been coloured using Polished Pink blends with a Color Lifter and Soft Succulent blends for the greenery.
The only stamping and die cutting is the sentiment which comes from the Sweet as a Peach bundle. I had to add a few Polished Pink In Color Jewels, I love them!
I will add product links for everything I’ve used when Saleabration starts 3rd August.
Back soon,
Katie x
