Seasonal Leaves

Another new stampset but not Christmas this time! Gorgeous Leaves is very well named, I love the texture stamps as much as I do the leaves. At first glance I definitely thought Autumn but decided to make a set of four cards, one for each season.

The set does come as a bundle with dies that cut out the leaf shapes and more intricate veined leaves. I put the wrong product in my basket! so I only have the stampset at the moment but that's ok. I made some simply stamped cards and this set works really well for that.

The sentiment is from Heartfelt Wishes and has been heat embossed in black across the middle of each of the four cards.

The colour palettes chosen determine whether the card is Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter themed but I have also changed the featured leaf and the largest background stamp.

So here are the colours, for Spring I have chosen Pale Papaya, Mango Melody and Granny Apple Green, for Summer it's Petal Pink, Fresh Freesia and Just Jade, for Autumn it's Cinnamon Cider, Bumblebee and Old Olive and finally for Winter I've gone for Balmy Blue, Highland Heather and Polished Pink.

On the Spring and Autumn cards I've used the wood texture background stamp and the maple style leaf, I have chosen the colours quite carefully as the stamping is one colour on top of another and I wanted to make sure all the stamped elements could be seen.

On the Summer and Winter cards I've used the blotchy background and the smaller leaf stamp.

These little cards are 4 inches square and 2 of each would make a perfect set of notecards.

Not long to go now before I can share product links, all of the new stampsets in my recent posts will be available to order 3rd August.

Thanks for looking,

Katie x
