So many butterflies

I think I’m a little obsessed with this bundle! I love to colour and all the butterfly images are perfect to colour with Stampin’ Blends.

I’ve not made a square card in a little while but had an idea in my head to create a card with lots of different colour butterflies and a nine square grid was what I decided on.

Lining up the squares wasn’t too difficult, I had a piece of Basic Beige cardstock about 6” square and started by sticking the middle square in place. Then I just used a ruler to place the outer squares with an 1/8” gap. Finally I trimmed the Basic Beige to approx 5 1/2” square making sure the white squares were central.

Then for the fun bit, I used so many different colours, I’m sure not one of them is a true ‘in the wild’ butterfly but that’s ok, I enjoyed creating different colour combinations.

My sentiment (Simply Said) is stamped directly onto the middle square, the butterflies have been die cut and added with mini dimensionals.
