Pretty pastels on today's Christmas card made using the Tidings and Trimmings bundle.
I've been wanting to use the Blushing Bride Frayed Grosgrain ribbon for a while, it has a lovely soft texture and a fluffy frayed edge. I've used it on this card to edge the embossed panel and as trim on the stocking.
I love the stars in this bundle, really intricate detail and a larger solid star in both sizes to layer them onto if you choose. As well as the stars, I have die cut some foliage pieces and of course the pretty stamped stocking.
The white panel has been embossed with the Merry Melody 3D embossing folder and the ribbon stuck to the back using double sided tape with just the frayed edge showing.
I used foam strips to add the ribbon edged panel which raises it nicely off the card base. The stars were added, slightly off centre and overlapping a little.
The stocking with foliage has been added using dimensionals as has the sentiment which is one of my favourites from Classic Cloche.
Some additional sparkle has been added with a small Simply Elegant Trim bow and a few Silver Epoxy gems. How cute are the little diamond shapes that I have added to the stocking trim.
Well that's another Christmas card made, I'm building up quite a collection and it's still only September!
Here are the products I used with links to my shop if you are looking for some new Christmas crafting goodies.
