Another card created using the lovely Wisteria Wishes and Sending Smiles.
I do love the Wisteria flowers, I have used them here as both Wisteria in Orchid Oasis and a Lupin type flower in Sweet Sorbet.
I started by creating an horizon as I wanted the flowers to frame a scene rather than it be just white behind. Two new colours (Tahitian Tide and Parakeet Party) have been used with blending brushes and a piece of scrap cardstock to create a straight line.
The leaves and stems, top and bottom have been stamped in Evening Evergreen and then the flowers added using the large three flower stamp and the single detail stamp.
The word 'Sending' here is a two stage die cut. The top layer is very delicate and a bit tricky to stick in place. My tip is to leave it in the die, add glue VERY sparingly and then turn the die over, using a pokey tool to push through the holes to release and stick it in place.
I've used Evening Evergreen cardstock (5 1/2" square) beneath the image (5 1/4" square) and the card base is 6" square.
The 'Sending' die cut has been added using mini dimensionals and for texture I have added a little Baker's Twine and some pretty Brass Butterflies.
Both of these stamp sets will be available as bundles with co-ordinating dies. From the Sending Smiles set I have used the word elements quite a bit and really must stamp and die cut some flowers. The Wisteria Wishes dies are really pretty with a lovely detailed branch with leaves. They may well feature on my next card!
