We are in February, the month of love. Here is a pretty floral Valentines card made using the Country Bouquet bundle.
I have used two colours in my stamping and my layers, Pear Pizzazz and Sweet Sorbet. In addition to the bundle I have added some embossing to the Sweet Sorbet cardstock layer using Pretty Flowers.
I love the two step stamped, large floral heart which is at the centre of my card. The punched heart and leaves are cute and add some foreground interest.
There are a number of layers to this card starting with the 6" square base. The remaining layers are as follows -
Sweet Sorbet dsp 5 3/4" square
Vellum 5 1/2" square
Sweet Sorbet embossed 4" square
Pear Pizzazz 3 5/8" square
White 3 1/2 " square
I stamped my floral heart first, the Sweet Sorbet has been stamped off to soften the look. The punched heart and leaves have both been stamped after removing some of the excess ink with blending brushes.
I looped some gold Simply Elegant Trim behind the heart before adding it to the card using dimensionals and a few little gold Festive Pearl decorate some of the flowers.
Lastly my sentiment, heat embossed in white onto black and trimmed tight to the text has been added to the card with three little gold pearls beneath.
