Oh I do love this stamp set! Full of Love is perfect for when you want to do a bit of easy colouring, I also got my snips out for some fussy cutting, thankfully it’s fairly easy to cut around the flowers.
My card is for this week’s Global Design Project sketch challenge #GDP378.
I've had the idea of creating a border of envelopes since I first got this set so that's where I started, colouring them in a rainbow of pretty pastel shades.
These were really easy to fussy cut away from the floral part of the stamped image.
Next I positioned them down the left hand side of my card and stuck in place before trimming off the overhanging parts.
My main image uses the other stamp in the set, I stamped and coloured one complete image and then several flower parts to build up the 'bouquet'.
Once I had fussy cut all those little flowers, I stuck them all in place making sure none of the envelope lines showed out of place.
The splatter is stamped (Color & Contour) in Sahara Sand to create a little interest behind the flowers.
Before sticking the envelope of flowers in place, I added a linen thread loop and bow. The image was, like the little envelopes, stuck down slightly overhanging the edge of the card and then trimmed.
My sentiment has been heat embossed in white on black and once again fussy cut. My snips have really been put to the test today but luckily they are more than up to the job.
Lastly, I added a couple of silver Festive Pearls to the centres of the Fresh Freesia coloured flowers.
