Another Thoughtful Journey

A second play with the gorgeous Thoughtful Journey dsp, this time paired with Delicate Forest stampset.

How pretty are these papers? A card can come together quite quickly when the paper is the star of the show.

I started by trimming my 6x6 dsp, these measurements are to fit an A6 card base (UK size).

Initially I trimmed 1/2” off the bottom then I cut 1/2” off both the left and right hand side, leaving a width of 5”.

From here I cut 1 1/2” (left hand side), 2” (centre) leaving 1 1/2” (right hand side).

Lastly I took 1/16” off the top and bottom of the centre strip.

I used Pretty Peacock to stamp the lovely tree image directly onto the centre strip of dsp and then layered this onto white card. The left and right hand side strips were stuck directly onto my card base. Foam strips have been used to raise the centre panel up off the card.

My simple ‘hello’ sentiment (Simply Said) has again been stamped in Pretty Peacock and I’ve used a Perennial Postage die to create the ticket style banner.

I thought about adding some gems or ribbon, but decided that simplicity is what this card is all about and so left it as it is.

The new Stampin’ Up! Annual catalogue is now live, if you want to have a browse through you will find links on my home and catalogue pages. If you have shopped with Stampin’ Up! before you may find the layout a little different to what you are used to, but I’m sure you will enjoy looking at all the lovely new product featured inside.

In the meantime, below are links to the products used on this card.
