The make.
Charming Day is a lovely new bundle available exclusively online, I've used the smaller flower stamp, the leaf stamp and one of the sentiments on my card.

I wanted to keep the design quite clean and simple but at the same time having a little background interest. I created a mask using a Perennial Postage die and used a blending brush to add colour through it. I also left it in place to add the abstract text but removed the mask to add the splatters (Elements of Text).

I stamped the leaves directly onto the panel and stamped the sentiment and the small flower onto a separate piece of white card to be die cut. I had to be a bit creative to die cut the sentiment as there wasn't a die the right size. It was easy enough to cut the top and then reposition the die to cut the bottom.

Before I added my die cut pieces, I ran the main image layer through my die cut machine with the cute little post mark die, it doesn't cut but adds an embossed pattern.
Colouring was quick and easy for this one, Old Olive and Soft Sea Foam on the leaves, a little Petal Pink on the flower petals and Pecan Pie on the stamens.

I really like the sentiment on this card and think it fit's the theme of friendship perfectly.
I wonder what the other Stamptastic Friends blog hoppers have created for this challenge. You can check them out by clicking on the links below.
