Have you seen the Kintsugi Inspirations Suite in the new Stampin' Up! catalogue? I love it all but I think the embossing folder is my favourite item.

The purpose
Stamptastic Friends Blog Hop - Monochrome

The tools
Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
Paper Trimmer
The products
Stamp set(s) - Inspiring Imperfections, Elements of Text
Dies - Inspiring Imperfections, Textured Notes
Embossing Folder - Joined Together
The colours
Blueberry Bushel, Misty Moonlight, Azure Afternoon, Balmy Blue, Cloud Cover
The make
This card is all about layers and texture, I started with a rectangle of Balmy Blue cardstock and added some Azure Afternoon splashes (Elements of Text) around the edge, then I embossed it using Joined Together.
The next layer is a Misty Moonlight panel die cut using one of the Textured Notes dies and layered this onto White. On top of this sits a couple of beautifully detailed vases, stamped in Blueberry Bushel on White and Misty Moonlight on Cloud Cover.

The blossom is die cut in white with some Azure Afternoon added with a blending brush. The blossom stems (Cloud Cover) are actually the broken veins for the vases. The Japanese art of visible repair, Kintsugi, is what this suite is all about but I am yet to add imperfections to these perfect vases!
I wonder what the other Stamptastic Friends blog hoppers have created for this challenge. You can check them out by clicking on the links below.
