If you are new to card making or perhaps you just haven’t had a go at die cutting before, now is a great time to start.
I’ve made this trio of sweet little cards using one stamp/die bundle, four ink colours, one pack of dsp and some little flower embellishments.

This was the first purchase I made from the annual catalogue when it was launched in June last year, it’s a really great value set, even better right now with the additional discount.
I started by stamping three lots of stems in Pear Pizzazz and the flowers in Fresh Freesia, Polished Pink and Pale Papaya with a little Pear Pizzazz centre. I roughly trimmed around the stamped images and die cut them using my Mini Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, using a little masking tape to hold the dies in place.
The sentiments all come from the same bundle as does the die that was used to cut them out. The backing paper is 6x6 In Color dsp, I've used the same pattern for each and matched the colour to the stamped flowers.
With everything stamped and cut it was time to assemble the cards. My card bases are 4 inches square and first I stuck on the dsp square 3 3/4 inches square. On top of this I stuck the stem and the sentiment using multipurpose glue, then I added the flowers using mini dimensionals.
Lastly I added some of the little Loose Flower Flourishes which I stuck in place using mini glue dots.
I love my Mini Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, if you are considering having a go at die cutting it's a great tool to have.
