I bought the Classic Cloche bundle because I really like the sentiments and the tree dies but I’m finding I’m loving the cloche element too, especially with the little winter houses scene.
The dsp used here is Tidings of Christmas from the annual catalogue, the sparkly paper is a free saleabration item.
I have gone for my current favourite greens, Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent and the neutral shades, Early Espresso, Crumbcake and Sahara Sand.
The little house scene is stamped on white and very simply coloured with light and dark blends, Crumbcake for the neutral card, Soft Succulent for the green one. It is then die cut and layered onto the Cloche shape, die cut from the same dsp as the base layer on the card.
I have used Stitched Rectangle dies to cut the dark cardstock layer and the sparkly 'Be Dazzling' paper. The scroll base to the cloche has been die cut from the same colours. The trees are one sparkly and one Sahara Sand/Soft Succulent to match the colour of the dsp.
Everything has been assembled using glue, double sided tape and mini dimensionals. The sentiment has been stamped on white and mounted on a coloured cardstock layer with a piece of ribbon behind. Lastly I have added a Brushed Metallic Dot to the top of the cloche.
I love the way this scene works in so many different shades, pinks or blues look good too, and it is so quick and easy to colour.
So what do you think of the cloche? Here's a quick look at the same die shape used with another gorgeous new set, Penguin Place. More of this one to come soon.
There's not long to wait now, the new Jul-Dec and Saleabration catalogues are out 3rd August, what's on your wish list?
Thanks for looking,
Katie x
