Outdoors is the theme for this week’s Global Design Project challenge #gdp411, I have gone for a floral design with rich red and warm yellow flowers.
The actual colours are Calypso Coral and Crushed Curry which, along with Pool Party and Lost Lagoon, feature in the lovely Inked Botanicals dsp.
I started with an A6 Calypso Coral card base to which I added a 5 1/2" x 3 3/4" panel of the lovely dsp. My next layer has been die cut using Deckled Rectangles and coloured with a blending brush and Lost Lagoon ink.
I have stamped and coloured a spray of flowers, also colouring in the white area to blend in with the Lost Lagoon background. A few die cut flowers and stems in Pool Party, Calypso Coral and Crushed Curry have been added too.
My sentiment, on Very Vanilla cardstock is from Charming Sentiments with the coordinating Sentiment Silhouettes dies.
Lastly I've added a Lost Lagoon bow and some Wild Wheat In Colour Dots which are a good match for Crushed Curry.
