This year there are some absolutely stunning designer series paper ranges which need little else to make a fabulous card.
Do you ever find that you need a card but just don't have heaps of time to design and create one from scratch? Well that's when it's time to let the dsp do the hard work for you.
A piece of dsp is the star of the show in all of the cards shown here, I've added a stamped or heat embossed sentiment, some embellishments or die cuts and a colour co-ordinated cardstock layer. It really can be that quick and easy to produce a beautiful handmade card.
The first and second cards use my absolute favourite dsp range Expressions in Ink.
The first one is in Magenta Madness with gold foil, I've used sentiments from Biggest Wish and Lovely You and added a die cut gold butterfly (Brilliant Wings dies) and an in colour jewel.
The second card has a very similar style of dsp, this time predominately Just Jade and all that has been added is a sentiment from Hand-Penned Petals and a couple of jewels.
The third card uses a gorgeous floral sheet of Simply Elegant dsp with gold, silver and copper foil. I have heat embossed the sentiment from Artistically Inked and added some silver die cut leaves from the bundled Artistic dies.
The last card uses the pretty Hand-Penned dsp with Misty Moonlight and Pale Papaya flowers. The sentiment is from Sweet as a Peach and has been shaped using the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch. Some Pale Papaya ribbon and bow finish the card off nicely.
Don't be afraid to let the dsp do the hard work,, you can still make the card your own by choosing the sentiment and how you embellish it.
Below you will find links for the key products used to make these cards.
Thanks for looking,
