I've not stopped using the new in colours since I received them but I decided to go for a monochromatic look for today's card.
I have used three grey tones, Basic Grey, Smoky Slate and Granite Grey in both the stamping and cardstock.
I started by stamping the large floral image from Hand-Penned Petals in black and then coloured the flowers and leaves in the different shades of grey either full strength or stamped off once.
The dsp I've used is soon to be retired but there will be new 6x6 stacks with four new designs in the same lovely colours. I've edged the dsp with Basic Grey using a die from the co-ordinating Penned Flowers dies.
In addition to the stamped image I have added some die cut leaves and a simple sentiment. The card has been completed with the addition of some Grey Granite Shimmer ribbon and a trio of clear Elegant Faceted Gems.
Using grey tones has given the card a completely different look, I think it would make a lovely wedding card.
