I love a freebie and for today’s card, I have used two! This is my card for the June Casually Crafting Design Team Tic Tac Toe challenge.
I found the tic tac toe choices quite tricky this time but settled on the bottom line - Blue, Brown, Green.
It's almost Saleabration time again and as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I get to pre order ahead of each catalogue release. As my Saleabration free items I chose the beautifully detailed Stylish Sketches stamp set and Pool Party & Soft Sea Foam cards & envelopes.
Each item (the cards & envelopes are a pack of 20 with two card colours) were free with a £45 catalogue spend.
I started by stamping the ducks onto Basic White cardstock, I used blending brushes with a little Soft Sea Foam and Balmy Blue ink to soften the white area. The ducks have been coloured using Stampin' Blends, Bermuda Bay is perfect for the mallard's head.
I've used the fig leaf stamp to add some detail to my Pool Party strip, stamping in the same colour. My base layers are Soft Suede.
Have I mentioned before, I don't like to waste anything? I've used the outside edge of my dimensionals to stick the image panel to the card base.
My card simply says friend, the sentiment is from Happiness Abounds, currently my favourite set for sentiments, I love the font. Lastly three little Champagne Rhinestone Basic Gems have been added for some sparkle.
