Whimsical Trees in shades of grey

Who says a Christmas card needs to be colourful? I have used Whimsical Trees again with a couple of other new stamp sets for sentiments, a new embossing folder and the rather lovely dsp Peaceful Place.

The dsp is really beautiful, white and shades of grey with silver foil on one side.

On the first card I have used one piece of dsp for the ‘snowflake sky’ background layer and another for the tree pieces and the layer under the black embossed card. The black cardstock has been embossed with a sheet music pattern using a new folder, Merry Melody.

The sentiment is from Heartfelt Wishes, I love the font, it took a bit of fussy cutting but I think it was worth it. A few loops of simply elegant trim adds a little sparkle and compliments the silver foil of the tree.

The two little cards are very similar with a circle cut from embossed black cardstock over grey dsp with foiled snowflakes.

The trees and baubles are again from Whimsical Trees, the sentiment this time is from Penguin Place. I have added simply elegant trim again, I think this is going to be finding it's way onto lots of my Christmas cards this year!

I will share product links as soon as these new sets are available on 3rd August but in the meantime, if you are in the UK and would like a paper copy of the catalogue posted, let me know.

Thanks for looking,
